Time for an update and some reflections. As always, nothing is entirely set in stone and everything here is subject to change.
Quite happy with how February went, especially the last week. All the posts I wrote there was meant to be done during February break so when that didn’t pan out, I was planning to push them into March. I’m kind of stunned that I managed to get them done on a work week. It sure was nice posting four series reviews last month. I really need to write more since I’ve neglected that part of the blog so much.

Should be done with Ms. Elf and Sorario Utility this month. Having Sunday open for whatever has been nice though it has been annoying writing two posts for Saturday. I kind of forgot there’s a reason why I dialed the double posting down last year. I was busy today hanging out with a friend and watching the Gundam GQuuuuuuX movie so this weekend’s seasonal posts are written in quickie form. I still would rather write the usual way but I didn’t want to risk trying to play catch-up so I was willing to pull that last resort again.
Speaking of Gundam, the plan now is to write an episode review for the GQuuuuuuX Beginnings movie and then separate and re-edit whatever I write into individual episode reviews when the show airs next month. I know it’s redundant but I’m very stingy about my rule of every episode getting its own post and this seemed like the best path to take besides writing again from scratch. The only issue I have is that I have no idea what episodes comprises the movie so I’m just gonna have to guess where an episode begins and ends and hope that can be smoothly taken out for the individual posts. As for stuff before Witch from Mercury, I think you could tell from my SEED review that episode reviews for most of them is just not happening. I sure as hell wasn’t going to cover the Cosmic Era stuff. That’s about 100 episodes. Screw that. But anything new like GQuuuuuuX, I’m open to blogging about them.
As you can tell from the list above, I decided to pick up BanG Dream! It’s My Go!!!!! for retroactive coverage. I wanted to post the first three episode reviews back to back but I was only able to get the first one out at the very end of last month. I’m hoping to get Episodes 2 and 3 covered off the blog schedule and cover the rest during April break. Regarding the franchise as a whole, I’m just going to commit to MyGo. If I like it enough, I’ll consider Ave Mujica. I’m hesitant to consider everything else since it took me a whole year to cover 100+ episodes of Love Live! but who knows.
The next Princess Principal movie and OVA posts should hopefully be posted on the very end of this month. I’d like to go faster but I am watching PriPri with a friend so I want to accommodate for his schedule. Covering movies back to back sounds annoying to me anyway so I’m fine with the monthly approach. After PriPri, I think I’ll finally get around to the Violet Evergarden movies.
Didn’t get a lot of Anime Archive housekeeping done last month. It was pretty much just transferring the screencaps for Harukana Receive and fixing the archive page. I’m okay with that since I was more focused on writing but I am starting to think that I should take a season off from writing episode reviews to get a lot of housekeeping done. The problem of course is that I don’t know when that could happen and what I’d do instead of the episode reviews.
