In this episode, Chisato wants to discuss with Takina about potential locations the two of them should go to when they’re on vacation. Given what happens at the end of the series, it’s possible that this short leads into that. Much to Chisato’s annoyance, LycoReco gets a phone call from Lusunoki (Yoko Soumi). The girls’ mission this time around is to apprehend a robber escaping the authorities, which sounds like child’s play for Chisato and Takina but I guess the two are chosen because they’re in the area. What’s great about this scene is Chisato completely ignoring Kusunoki and the director sounding defeated as she struggles to reel Chisato in. I’m realizing now that there should’ve more of this in the show.
Takina takes the phone so that Kusunoki can finally give details in the mission. Funnily enough though, Takina would rather talk about potential vacation destinations so most likely, she accepts the mission just to get it over with. Right as Chisato and Takina prepare for the mission, the robber actually visits LycoReco to rob the cafe. A bit too convenient but it makes for a solid joke that compliments the 3 minute run time of the episode. Also, this guy’s luck could not get any worse.
