As it seems to be the case, tryouts is a hectic part of the season. Falling behind on episode reviews is nothing new to me but what is driving me crazy is that I had to put a couple of projects on hold for a bit to keep up with what’s new and current. Right now, I got a few episodes of Banana Fish and the Princess Principal dub/re-watch to catch up on, not to mention I need to finish my coverage on Magical Girl Raising Project. It sucks though it could be worse. It could be Fall 2017 all over again where I was eternally behind. Hopefully, I can tackle Winter 2019’s premieres more smoothly.

Oh but enough about my first world problems. We’re three weeks into the season so let’s see what’s made the cut so far.

The Girl in Twilight I’ll admit is an odd possibility. It’s hardly my favorite but gah, it’s so strange and still very entertaining so who knows. The plan was to originally save Eps. 3 and 4 for a Lightning Round but I might actually write separate posts on each of them. They’re so wildly distinct from each other.
